Finally get the strength you’ve been wanting.
I can help you build strength and resilience to overcome pain and performance gaps, so you can return to sport, travel, or play.
Perhaps you’re dealing with everyday pain with the activities you like to do, or you want to feel better about your body again. By working with me, you’ll learn where your individual imbalances are and how to address them, so you can feel capable and empowered again.
Ready to See Real Change?
You’re putting in effort…but not seeing the results you want. Maybe you’re following online or group class workouts that don’t quite fit your needs, or you’ve tried strength training before and felt unsure if you were doing it right.
You might be:
- Someone who’s overcoming an injury, and looking how to learn the proper mechanics of moving your body so you can transition safely back to fitness.
- A female experiencing the hormonal shifts of peri-menopause and learning how strength training can help rebalance your body.
- An endurance athlete ready to build more strength and power strategically without the risk of “overtraining”,
- A busy mom trying to regain strength and confidence after pregnancy, but needs a program that delivers results with minimum training time.
- Or you may be an athlete who may be experiencing occasional pain and want to truly assess what your strength imbalances and mobility limitations are and how to correct them.
- Someone who wants to make the most of their time in the gym and see real progress.
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

Not seeing results with what you’ve already tried?
Plateaus and lack of progress can stem from doing the wrong type of training for your individual needs. In fact, your body may become more stressed, or more prone to injury when the training doesn’t match what your functional capacity is. In order to know what YOU need to see progress, we start with an assessment of the following:

What are your flexibility and mobility limitations?
Often people dive into a fitness program and try movements that they think are working, but may be doing harm if the proper moving mechanics and end ranges of motions aren’t there. In our first session, we do a comprehensive flexibility and mobility assessment to see where you need to scale and where you might be compensating with lack of functional mechanics.
What is your capacity and load?
There are things that you can’t control, yet things that you can control to help you progress. Often, the loads and stresses in our life can add up until we are at max capacity. I’ll help you deep dive into how to look at and reduce the loads and stresses while helping you increasing your overall capacity and capability to move better.
Gain Insight from an Experienced Lifter
From winning national and world championships, setting multiple records in weightlifting, to winning age groups in long distance triathlons, I have experienced the type of training and progressions needed to succeed and see tangible results from lifting weights.
Do you have strength imbalances that we need to address?
If one side of your body is significantly working harder or less than the other, then do you think this could affect how you move day to day in terms of posture, loading joints equally, or occasional pain? I also help assess imbalances in your strength in push-pull-squat-hinge mechanics so you are more informed about how to address these.
Train to support your lifestyle.
Maybe you are already active (hiking, biking, running or skiing) and need strength work to supplement what you are doing. I ensure our training complements your activities so you feel more energetic and well-recovered, without feeling overtrained.
Get to Know Me as a Coach
I know it can be hard to tell if a coach is the right fit. Here’s a quick video I created on learning the deadlift as part of my Barbells for Beginners program to get a feel for my coaching style.
Here’s what working together looks like:
My goal is to make training simple, effective, and tailored to you. No cookie cutter training plans here! I customize our sessions or remote coaching options based on where you are at, so you can finally see the progress you’ve been looking for.

Step 1: Let’s Talk.
Start with a no-sweat 15-minute consultation with me to tell me about your goals and aspirations. The sky is the limit here!
Step 2: Assess & Build Your Plan
Assess your mobility limitations and strength imbalances first, and develop a plan to build around your unique challenges.
Step 3: Ascend!
Finally see progress because we’re addressing the areas you’ve overlooked. Feel great about the progress you’re making – you’ve earned it!
Real Stories. Real Strength.
You should feel ecstatic about the progress that you are making, and leave each session with me feeling accomplished! Hear what my clients have to say:

“Snow’s introduction to weightlifting was incredibly helpful for me! Her expertise in breaking down the technique and phases of complex lifts step-by-step was invaluable. In addition, the drills she provided were simple enough for solo practice, yet effective enough to integrate into overall technique in the areas I was weakest and most hesitant. This experience provided a stable foundation for me to understand how to both safely and efficiently enhance my strength for the complex and technical lifts. Highly recommend working with Snow!”
– Giulia Conte

“Working with Snow to improve my bench press has been a total game-changer, not just for my bench but across the board. Since training with her, I’ve seen major progress. In fact, I just hit a lifetime PR of 167 lbs, over a 20lb increase since starting with Snow. Not only have I made my bench press goals so far, but I’m seeing it in my strict press, ring dips and push-ups. Her programming is smart, focused and effective-and her coaching style is next level. Snow doesn’t just give cues, she teaches you how to move better, train smarter, and show up stronger every time. She’s world-class, literally!
– Abbegale Paiken
The reason I chose a trainer instead of using the cheaper options available to me is the coaching. My fitness goals are to get in good shape AND to remain injury-free. Olympic weightlifting is new to me, and in order to maximize my results and minimize my likelihood of injury, I need good coaching to teach me and help me with my form. Snow is really amazing; she knows who I am as a person. I felt seen from Day One.
– Grace W
The greatest change I’ve noticed over the past 6 months of lifting is decreased knee and back pain, and increased strength and flexibility overall. I feel very accomplished to see steady improvement across all workouts.
– Lyndia H

“Snow is FANTASTIC! Her kindness and knowledge are unparalleled. As an actor at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, it is important for me to keep my body in shape and ready for anything. Snow helped me get into shape and establish a routine with gentleness and encouragement. One of my goals was to build more muscle for a production that was coming up. She tailored workouts to my specific needs and abilities and helped me reach my goals. I always left feeling wonderful AND like I had gotten the best workout of my life.”
– Jonathan Luke Stevens
About Snow Charpentier, NSCA-CPT
Before graduating college, I was always frustrated with how my body looked. I took up half-marathon training, and eventually triathlon training while I was in grad school in hopes of getting myself in shape. I began to discover that endurance training alone wasn’t enough, and I read somewhere that women should be lifting HEAVY to see real results.
During training for an Ironman, I found CrossFit and finally learned proper lifting technique under the guidance of a coach. That’s when I began to see REAL CHANGES in my body composition, and how I felt overall. I not only ran faster and biked faster, but my shoulders and thighs felt more “toned” and my waist more defineed. Clothes fit me better than they ever have! But what I found was I started focusing less on aesthetics, and more on performance and what I was capable of.
My coach convinced me to try competing in Olympic weightlifting, and within my first year, I qualified for the American Open and placed fifth nationally. Since then, I’ve set state and regional records, returned to competition after having two kids (now ages 2 & 5), and, in 2025, earned triple gold medals at the USA Masters National Championships and the International Masters Weightlifting Federation World Championships, where I set a world record clean & jerk of 93kg (205 lbs). Now, I’m passionate about helping others discover their own strength: one lift, one milestone, one confident step at a time. I currently own Iron Haven Fitness with my husband Nate in downtown Ashland, OR, where I have helped hundreds of clients become stronger and fitter for everyday life.
